If stores can put up Christmas displays in August and September, Camp Pecometh can certainly open registration for the 2023 summer in November. We are looking forward to an exciting and fun summer full of growth — spiritually, emotionally, and physically for our campers. Kids need camp more than ever. It is a place to meet new friends, have new experiences, and grow as an individual.
As you start the registration process you will notice that program offerings look different this year. We have many more openings for our traditional summer camp programs than ever before. We have also created some new opportunities. Last summer we learned that campers were looking for more of a well-rounded camp experience rather than spending time in one specific art, aquatics, or nature program. We have expanded our offerings because we don’t want to turn away any campers from the chance to experience all that Camp Pecometh has to offer.
But don’t worry — we are keeping the traditions and activities that make Camp Pecometh special and will incorporate them into our new programs. Some highlights for Summer 2023 include:
- 3 new pieces of SplashDown! equipment to bounce, splash, climb and explore on.
- 2 & 3 night Express Camps for Jr. High students who are first time campers or do not have time to come for a whole week.
- 2 & 3 night Presto! Camps for students who have completed grades 3-5.
- Expanded activity offerings in Summer Respite, Day Camp,
- Jr. High, and Riverside to include some of the following: zipline, high challenge course, boating, SplashDown!, hammock sleep outs, nature, and art activities.
The BEST news: 2022 camp prices will remain in effect for 2023. We will continue to offer camp scholarships (camperships) to those in need. We want to make Camp happen for as many children as possible. Camp Pecometh is for EVERYONE! We hope to see you in 2023!
