Bring Your Group to Pecometh

Pecometh offers the perfect setting for church groups, youth groups, schools, non-profits, and community organizations seeking a meaningful retreat experience. With a focus on fostering cooperation, spiritual growth, and personal development, Pecometh’s retreat center provides hospitality, accommodations, and programs tailored to help your group meet its goals.

We can accommodate groups ranging from 8 to 250 people, with lodging options and dining services available to meet the needs of your group. For those staying in cabins or camping, meals can be prepared in our centrally located Dining Hall.

How to Get Started:

  1. Select Potential Dates: Fall and spring weekends fill up quickly, so it’s best to have multiple options in mind, especially if booking on short notice.
  2. Choose Accommodations: Decide on the level of comfort and budget your group requires, with options from tent camping to hotel-style retreats.

Overnight Accommodations

Pecometh offers a range of lodging options, including:

  • Tent Sites: Perfect for a traditional camping experience.
  • Rustic Cabins: Bunk bed accommodations with fire rings and washhouses.
  • Dorm-Style Retreat Houses: Climate-controlled buildings with full kitchens.
  • The Riverview Retreat Center: Hotel-style rooms with private baths and river views.

Each accommodation provides privacy and a sense of seclusion, giving groups a unique and immersive retreat experience.

Picnics, Meetings & Day Use

Picnics

Host a church or community picnic at Pecometh! Our pool pavilion and picnic tent are available during the warmer months and include complimentary charcoal grills. For added fun, consider adding pool access, available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Meetings & Day Use

Pecometh offers several meeting spaces for day use or exclusive use in combination with overnight stays. For day-use visitors not staying overnight, a small fee applies. We also offer meeting space rentals for groups exceeding 100 people.

HOTEL-STYLE ACCOMMODATIONS

RIVERVIEW RETREAT CENTER

The RRC has 24 hotel-style bedrooms with private bathrooms. Fully equipped meeting rooms are available in 600 and 1200 square foot configurations. Buffet-style meals with fresh ingredients and healthy options, the comfortable common areas and the inspiring water views make the RRC a retreat and meeting experience to remember.

DORM-STYLE ACCOMMODATIONS

RETREAT HOUSES

Pecometh has three climate-controlled, dorm-style retreat houses. Guest groups have the option of cooking their own meals or arranging for dining hall meals.

  • Faith and Grace House each have two 18-bed dorm wings (36 beds per house) with bathrooms, a central meeting/dining area, and full kitchen.
  • The Talley House has two 12-bed dorms (24 beds total) with bathrooms and a central meeting/dining/kitchen area.

RUSTIC ACCOMODATIONS

CABINS

Pecometh has four different rustic cabin areas ranging from 48-96 beds in each. Each area has a washhouse and fire ring, making them perfect for the “classic” camp experience. Cabins are available for guest groups from April to October.

When I was little I went to a day camp and our camp would come and use Pecometh's pool. I’m older now and attend Pecometh's sleepaway camp for a week. I love it here all the counselors are very nice and the activities are very fun. The food is pretty good. All of my family has been going to this camp for years.
