SECURE PECOMETH'S FUTURE

GODFREY LEGACY SOCIETY

Leave a Lasting Legacy

Pecometh Camp & Retreat Ministries has been a source of life-changing experiences for generations. Now, you can ensure that this important work continues for years to come by joining the Godfrey Legacy Society. By including Pecometh in your estate plans, you leave a legacy of faith, community, and impact that will benefit future generations.

What is the Godfrey Legacy Society?

The Godfrey Legacy Society is named in honor of George and Carolyn Godfrey, whose deep connection to Pecometh began in the camp’s earliest years. Carolyn attended the first-ever week of summer camp in 1946, and George joined in 1948. Their love story began at Pecometh, and their commitment to its ministry has never wavered.

George answered the call to ministry at a Galilean Service in Pecometh’s Outdoor Chapel and later became the first Camp and Youth Director for the Peninsula Conference. Throughout the decades, the Godfreys have supported Pecometh through volunteer service, church involvement, and leadership roles. By joining the Godfrey Legacy Society, you follow in their footsteps, ensuring Pecometh continues to inspire future generations.

How You Can Support Pecometh Through Planned Giving

Planned giving offers a unique way to make a significant contribution to Pecometh, even if you cannot give immediately. By naming Pecometh Camp and Retreat Ministries in your will or as a beneficiary in your retirement account or insurance policy, you can leave a lasting legacy without impacting your current financial security.

Planned Giving Options

There are many ways to give, and we encourage you to explore the one that best fits your financial situation.

Percentage Bequest

A percentage bequest allows you to allocate a portion of your estate to Pecometh while ensuring your loved ones are cared for. Even a small percentage of your total assets can make a big impact on Pecometh’s ministry. For example, if your total remaining assets are $200,000, a 5% bequest would leave $190,000 for your family and loved ones, while contributing $10,000 to Pecometh’s future.

This option enables you to maintain your assets during your lifetime while making what may be the largest single gift you ever give.

Why Planned Giving?

Flexibility for Your Lifetime

Planned giving allows you to retain access to your assets throughout your life, ensuring you can meet your financial needs while still supporting Pecometh’s mission in a significant way.

Impact Beyond Your Lifetime

Your planned gift will help Pecometh continue to provide transformative experiences to campers, retreat participants, and future leaders. You can be part of the legacy that ensures Pecometh's ministry thrives for generations.
