In this month’s Pecometh Post news roundup: New washhouse construction,
What a summer it was here at beautiful Camp Pecometh. The sounds of children laughing, playing, and praying filled our camp. This summer, we welcomed over 750 campers to this holy space, an increase of 6% over last year.
God’s good news and love are reaching new children and youth because of this ministry. This is all made possible by the generosity of our supporters who pray for our ministries, support us financially, and encourage children to attend camp. Thank you.
Washhouse Construction is Underway!
We have been working to modernize our facilities for the next generation of campers through our Pecometh for Generations Capital Campaign.
We consistently see the words “icky washhouses” in our post-camper evaluations. We are overjoyed to share that construction has begun on two new washhouses, and we plan to have the remaining two completed by next summer.
We know and trust that these improvements will continue to help new campers say “yes” to a week of camp because the accommodations will better match their expectations. We anticipate camp registration will continue to grow as a result of the generosity of this campaign.
