The summer of 1967, 12-year-old Mary Hagemann attended Camp Pecometh for the first time. Her parents made her go. “Not the Best Week of My Life.”
We are pleased to announce our participation in the Effective Camp Project in summer 2022. We are part of a group of camps across the country who are apart of this project.
“Excited!” That’s how 7-year-old Adam feels when he thinks about Camp Pecometh. Adam has never known a time when he hasn’t been aware of Pecometh.
Larry and Joanne Fortner are a retired couple in their 80’s from Newark, Delaware. Neither grew up being part of the Pecometh family, and in fact, never even knew it existed.
Anjenee’s world expanded when her mother encouraged her to go to Camp. “I resisted, I didn’t want to go! I had never been away from home! I was afraid.”
Serving a congregation that was the cultural opposite of herself had Tina Blake considering leaving the ministry.
