Join us for a memorable Fall Respite Weekend from October 10-12, 2025, designed specifically for adult campers with intellectual disabilities. Amid the beauty of falling leaves and cozy fire-lit evenings, this fun-filled weekend provides a perfect opportunity to reconnect with summer camp friends and make new ones!
Fun-Filled Activities and Comfortable Accommodations
Our Fall Respite program features a variety of engaging activities tailored to ensure that every camper has an enjoyable experience. Campers will stay in our climate-controlled, dormitory-style retreat houses, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation and connection.
Minimum Requirements for Respite Campers
To participate in the Fall Respite program, campers must meet the following essential functions:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Toilet trained and able to dress, undress, and feed themselves
- Able to manage personal hygiene with minimal assistance (showering, brushing teeth, etc.)
- Move around independently without the use of crutches, walkers, or wheelchairs
- Comfortable being away from home and willing to follow simple directions
- Capable of living and functioning in a group setting (1:3 care ratio)
- Able to refrain from harming themselves or others
